Just some amateur trying to learn pixel art and software engineering (I know the general logic of programming languages, though I'm not really knowledgeable in them, yet)... and maybe a little game design sprinkled on top when I get a chance.
I try to learn everything by myself... not like I have a choice in that, though :P
I also like playing videogames. JRPGs and roguelikes are pretty cool. Indie games are usually the best, though.
And, not to get "too political" in my portfolio, but I like it when stuff is organised horizontally, and people's voices are heard. Take a look at sociocracy, to get a slight idea of what I mean.
I'm also a pianist! I can read sheet music. ...Though I can't compose anything. Playing an instrument doesn't mean ya know music theory!
My software kit consists [mostly] of [FOSS]:
- Visual Studio Code*
- Aseprite (though I also recommend LibreSprite, the FOSS split of Aseprite!)
- Audacity
- Godot game engine
- Undertale Mod Tool (software for editing data.win files)
- GitHub
- Wine + Lutris
- GNU/Linux Terminal (of course)
- Oh, oh, oh! And how could I forget?! StackOverflow. Maybe it's not software but it's remarkable enough to put it here
